Noise unveils Master Buds Open with Sound by Bose. Everything we know.

On the bustling show floor of IFA Berlin 2026, Noise unveiled the Master Buds Open, a new line of open-ear headphones designed by the brand in collaboration with audio leader Bose. These innovative earbuds feature an ergonomic, clip-on design that allows users to enjoy their favorite music or take work calls without completely isolating themselves from their surroundings.

The open-ear design, which marks Noise's first foray into this category, places the buds around the outer ear using a clip, rather than inserting silicon tips into the ear canal. This allows for better awareness of ambient sounds like traffic, announcements, and conversations, while still delivering high-quality audio. Open-ear headphones have faced criticism for often sounding thin due to lack of a tight seal, but Noise partnered with Bose to engineer the acoustic setup, resulting in clean, balanced sound.

Noise cofounder Amit Khatri emphasized during the unveiling that open-ear listening is becoming an increasingly important category globally. He believes consumers shouldn't have to sacrifice great sound for the ability to remain aware of their environment. The Master Buds Open are the latest addition to Noise's flagship Master Series, alongside traditional in-ear buds and over-ear headphones, catering to multi-taskers who need to seamlessly transition between work calls, music, and real-world interactions throughout the day.

The buds will be available for purchase in late September 2026 at a price point announced shortly before launch.
