New prize named for late author Andrew Pyper will recognize horror and thriller writers
Heidi Pyper says she's frustrated that horror and thriller writers like her late husband, Andrew Pyper, don't get the recognition they deserve, noting that he wasn't considered for Canada's top literary prizes because of the genre of his books. She hopes a new prize will help honour his legacy and encourage other writers.
