Matthijs de Ligt, who has been out since November with a lower back injury and recent surgery, is gradually making progress but is unlikely to return until late September 2026 at the earliest.

The most significant injury setback is Manuel Ugarte, who is recovering from surgery following a knee ligament tear sustained during the World Cup. His absence is expected to last until Spring or Summer 2027.
