The benefit show, titled Daisy Chain Fields, took place in Irvine, California, and united music, activism, and fundraising. The event featured a lineup of women-led artists such as Chappell Roan, Doechii, and Bikini Kill. Earlier, Rodrigo revealed that the concert had managed to raise sufficient funds for a $10 million donation to ten nonprofit organizations, including Planned Parenthood, the National Women's Law Center, and Black Mamas Matter Alliance.

Gates' surprise contribution doubled the amount raised, demonstrating the powerful impact that celebrities and musicians can have in connecting younger audiences with charitable causes. Rodrigo expressed her hope in the artists and activists involved in the event, despite the "regression of women's rights" today.
