JDT crush UM-Damansara 10-0 in FA Cup

KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) advanced to the FA Cup quarter-finals after a 10-0 victory over UM-Damansara United in the second leg at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium. This brought the overall score to a 14-1 aggregate win for JDT, following their 4-1 first-leg victory. Eddy Israfilov put JDT ahead in the fifth minute, with Juan Martinez doubling their advantage in the 22nd minute.

Stuart Wilkin extended the lead to 3-0 in the 32nd minute, and Martinez added a third goal three minutes after the break. Daniesh Amirruddin made it 5-0 in the 57th minute, with Wilkin adding a fourth in the 76th. Shahab Zahedi scored JDT's fifth in the 77th minute, and Israfilov added a second in the 80th minute. Daniesh scored a third in the 87th minute, and Zahedi rounded off the rout in added time.

Meanwhile, Negri Sembilan's FA Cup hopes ended with a 3-2 loss to Kelantan City in the second leg at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium. Despite taking an early lead through Yusuke Minagawa in the fifth minute, Kelantan City won 4-3 on aggregate following a 2-0 win in the first leg. Negri made a strong start with a header from Yusuke Minagawa in the fifth minute, but could not recover from Akhyar Rashid's penalty in the 36th minute.

Kelantan City's late goals from Dandy Arbdallah and Asraff Alifuddin Yasin secured their spot in the quarter-finals. At the KLFA Stadium, Kuching City progressed after a 5-1 win over Kelantan Red Warrior, completing a 5-1 aggregate victory. Dylan Wenzel Halls gave Kuching City an early lead in the ninth minute, with Safawi Rasid doubling their advantage in the 20th minute.

Ronald Ngah scored twice for Kuching City in the 53rd and 71st minutes, with Kaishu Yamazaki adding the final goal in the 80th minute. Kelantan Red Warrior managed a consolation goal through Mazwan Che Mat in the 67th minute. At the Tuanku Syed Putra Stadium, Star City secured their quarter-final place with a 2-0 win over Kedah FA, completing a 4-2 aggregate victory.

Pedro Da Silva put Star City ahead in the 16th minute, and Douglas Oliveira sealed the win with a goal in the 58th minute.
