Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2026 opens public nominations

The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2026 has launched its public nomination process, inviting fans, industry professionals and stakeholders from Ghana and abroad to recognize outstanding DJs. This crucial phase of the awards season allows music enthusiasts to highlight DJs who have made a significant impact on Ghana's radio, nightlife, events, digital platforms and broader music culture throughout the year.

Organizers are urging the public to nominate DJs from all categories, including regional talents and emerging artists whose contributions may not yet be widely acknowledged. Alfred Amaah, the Technical Producer of the event, stated that the DJ Awards has always been shaped by the culture and feedback from those who experience DJs' work daily, ensuring that fans have a say in identifying the DJs who have truly made a difference.

This year's event is themed "All Out," celebrating the passion, resilience and innovative spirit of DJs who consistently push boundaries and create unforgettable experiences. Fans, creatives and industry stakeholders are encouraged to fully participate in the celebration of these personalities behind the music. After the public nominations close on September 22, 2026, the submissions will be evaluated by the Ghana DJ Awards Board according to the eligibility criteria.

Shortlisted nominees will be unveiled before the voting period begins. The 2026 season promises a robust schedule of activities, including Pub Fest, the Ghana DJ Clinic, nationwide engagements and other opportunities leading up to the prestigious awards ceremony. With over 35,000 participants expected and an estimated television audience of 35 million viewers across Africa, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards has evolved into Africa's premier DJ event, providing a respected platform to celebrate excellence, nurture talent and highlight the vital role DJs play in music, entertainment and culture.
