Elon Musk Seems Legitimately Shaken Over This New Documentary

Elon Musk is visibly shaken by a new documentary that paints a critical picture of his life and career. The four-hour film, titled "Musk," premiered at the Venice Film Festival and is described as a damning account of the entrepreneur's actions, rivaling the cinematic scope of "All the King's Men" and featuring an impact similar to "The Pentagon Papers."

Documentarian and investigative journalist Alex Gibney had a wealth of material to draw from, given Musk's extensive list of controversies which include offensive commentary, undermining humanitarian efforts, exploiting workers, meddling in the democratic process, and alienating investors through overpromising and underdelivering.

Musk's ex, Ashley St. Clair, who is prominently featured in the documentary, claims she was offered $40 million to remain silent about her involvement with Musk and the allegations she brought against him. St. Clair, who had at least 14 children with Musk, alleges that the billionaire retaliated financially against her after she filed a custody petition by reducing her child support payments.

The documentarian has reportedly gone to extreme measures to silence those involved in the documentary, though Musk's ex-spouse's allegations paint Musk as someone who retaliates against those who challenge him.

Musk has publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the film, calling Gibney a "douchebag" and claiming it is his worst hit piece. However, considering the wealth of material Musk has provided over the years, Gibney had ample content to create a comprehensive portrait of Musk's life and career.
