El buscador de vivienda pública arranca con críticas por su escasa oferta

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda inaugurated Casa47 on Monday, a search tool designed to streamline access to the state-managed public housing inventory. However, just hours after its launch, the portal faced a deluge of user complaints, primarily centered on its limited offerings and uneven geographic distribution. The most pressing issue is the minuscule inventory, currently comprising only 638 homes listed.

Many critics also point out that major metropolitan areas like Madrid and Barcelona, known for their strained real estate markets, are conspicuously absent from the portal's current offerings. The Ministry, led by Isabel Rodríguez, defends this initial scarcity by explaining that the first homes listed originate from Sareb, colloquially referred to as the "bad bank."

These units are scattered across the Mediterranean corridor. Nevertheless, sources reveal plans to introduce more properties in Madrid and Seville by the end of the year.
