Egypt sentences TV crime show host to death in 750 kg synthetic drug case

China will make its debut at a major air show in Egypt, displaying several of its most advanced military aircraft to highlight both its combat capabilities and potential for weapons exports. The featured aircraft, chosen for their demonstrated capabilities in integrated combat operations, include the Z-20, J-16, YY-20, and KJ-500.

These aircraft were selected by the PLA Air Force to showcase their combined combat prowess, according to a military analyst. The air show, which began on Tuesday, will run until Thursday and follows a joint training exercise between China and Egypt's air forces. Song Zhongping, a former PLA instructor and military commentator, noted that this exhibition marks a significant breakthrough in demonstrating the PLA's comprehensive combat capabilities and potential for international sales.

Analysts also pointed out that while the J-16, KJ-500, and Z-20 are expected to be displayed, China is unlikely to export the heavier J-16 fighter jet. The air show has also drawn attention as it marks the first time China will display operational aircraft at an overseas air show in 2024, with seven J-10 aerobatic aircraft and one Y-20 transport aircraft also featured.
