Dr Ainul's mother struggles to accept daughter's death after Sarawak heli crash

KOTA BARU: Dr Ainul Baraah Kamaruddin's mother Rogayah Mohd Nor is struggling to come to terms with her daughter's death following a helicopter crash in Sarawak. The 69-year-old mother expressed her inability to accept that her daughter has left them forever, despite there being no noticeable changes in Ainul over the past week.

The two had gone out together and shopped during Ainul's holiday at their hometown, with no unusual alterations in her behavior. This sudden loss leaves Rogayah deeply shocked and she prays that her daughter will find peace in heaven, acknowledging Ainul's good nature as a daughter. The family has yet to decide on burial arrangements, as some relatives are still in Kuala Lumpur.

Plans are in place for the family to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Sarawak, expected to commence the next day. The BO-105 helicopter that crashed near Long Lellang Airport in Ulu Baram, Sarawak, was carrying five people who were all confirmed dead. Miri Resident and Miri Division Disaster Management Committee chairman Galong Luang confirmed the tragic incident at the end of the runway.
