Delhi Confidential: Pilot’s Punjab mission; Nabin’s Uttarakhand outreach

Today: Congress leader Sachin Pilot makes his first visit to the party office on Delhi’s Akbar Road since being appointed the AICC in-charge for poll-bound Punjab. Pilot’s birthday and the presence of the party’s Punjab chief, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, added a celebratory atmosphere to the meeting.

The leaders discussed state politics and upcoming polls, while also addressing the ongoing intra-party feud between Warring and former CM Charanjit Singh Channi.

Meanwhile, BJP president Nitin Nabin is set to embark on a two-day outreach to the Punjabi community in Uttarakhand, beginning September 10. The 'Punjabi Gaurav Sammelan' in Rudrapur will celebrate the community's cultural heritage and contributions to the state. This visit is particularly significant as both Punjab and Uttarakhand are set to hold elections early next year.
