Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.15%

Colombian stocks enjoyed a strong finish on Tuesday, with the COLCAP index gaining 0.15% and reaching a new all-time high. Industrials, services, and agriculture sectors drove the upward momentum. Key gainers included Etb, which surged 17.21% to 143.00, and Organizacion Terpel SA, which rose 2.44% to 18,500.00. Grupo Argos SA and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA also posted gains of 1.59% and 1.20% respectively.

In contrast, Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA suffered the biggest decline of the day, dropping 1.35% to 23,380.00. Despite the overall positive sentiment, commodities like US coffee and cocoa, as well as gold futures, saw declines. USD/COP slightly weakened by 0.06% to 3,115.92, while BRL/COP dipped by 0.05% to 612.39. The US Dollar Index Futures also experienced a minor drop of 0.34% at 98.82.
