BTS' Jungkook hits 500 mln Spotify streams with self-written 'Still With You'

SEOUL, Sept. 8 (Yonhap) -- Jungkook, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, has achieved a major milestone with his self-written solo song "Still With You" surpassing 500 million streams on Spotify, according to a statement from his label, BigHit Music. This achievement marks Jungkook's sixth track to reach the impressive mark, which include "Seven," "Standing Next to You," "Left and Right," his duet with American singer Charlie Puth titled "3D," and "Dreamers."

Notably, "Seven," Jungkook's debut as a solo artist, has become his best-selling track on the platform, having amassed over 3 billion streams. Upon its release in July 2023, "Still With You" climbed to No. 33 on Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 62 on the Billboard Global 200. The song opens with a melancholic intro accompanied by the sound of rain and a soothing, jazz-inspired melody, complemented by Jungkook's gentle vocals that imparts a tranquil, intimate atmosphere to the track.

BTS is set to embark on the South American segment of their "Arirang" world tour, with two performances scheduled in Bogota on October 2-3, as announced by the label.
