Bruce Springsteen Releasing Opening Songs from New Concert Film

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are set to release the opening seven songs from their upcoming concert film, "Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band: Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour (Philadelphia Freedom Cut)." The preview will be available on streaming services starting September 9th. The film, directed by Chris Hilson and Thom Zimny, captures the band's final concert of their 2026 U.S. tour at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena.

The opening song featured is a cover of The Temptations’ "War," with Tom Morello joining the band on stage each night of the tour. Other songs in the preview set include "Born in the U.S.A.," "Death to My Hometown," "Clampdown" by The Clash, "No Surrender," "Darkness on the Edge of Town," and "Streets of Minneapolis." Springsteen expressed his excitement for releasing the tour's final show recorded in Philadelphia, emphasizing the band's defense of the Constitution and democracy throughout the tour. The remaining recordings of the 27-song set will be released throughout the year.
