British-Nigerian influencer received 40cc filler before his death in Bangkok

Thailand's Health Service Support Department (HSS) investigated a clinic in Bangkok following the death of British-Nigerian influencer Ego Ubiribo. The influencer, who went by the name Tiny, lost consciousness during a massage session at a clinic in the Pathum Wan area on March 6 and later died. His wife reported that he had recently received a penile filler and experienced chest pain before fainting.

An autopsy in the UK found filler molecules in his lungs, which contributed to a pulmonary embolism and his death. Thai Public Health Minister Phattana Promphan said the case could damage Thailand's reputation and ordered an investigation to ensure fairness and maintain confidence in Thai healthcare services. The clinic, where Ubiribo received five penile enlargement filler procedures, stated that he was a regular customer since 2024.

The clinic's management and staff provided aftercare instructions and followed up on his condition, but Ubiribo did not report any issues. The HSS department will process the information according to its legal authority and submit it to the Medical Council of Thailand for assessment of professional practice standards.
