Bidens sønn lanserer kryptovaluta med beryktet laptop

Son Biden has introduced a new cryptocurrency called $LAPTOP, using a laptop found in 2020 as its name. The digital currency, based on internet memes that often become popular quickly but lose value just as fast, was first announced on Monday through a short video clip posted on X by the candidate. The clip mentioned the laptop, referring to it as a teaser for the coin's release.

Biden and those behind the new coin hold 30% of the one billion coins being minted, with the remaining 20% going to individuals who lost money on Trump's previous meme coin, $TRUMP. This coin peaked at almost 15 billion dollars in market value before collapsing to around 600 million dollars, according to Wall Street Journal sources.

If the Democrats win the presidential election in 2028, Biden plans to destroy 30% of the $LAPTOP coins, allowing the value to increase. The same could happen if the coin's value rises above that of Trump's coin within a certain period. Meme coins experienced a massive comeback after Trump's victory and became a billion-dollar industry, but most collapse in value shortly after their launch, making up only a marginal part of the overall cryptocurrency market.
