2027: Real reason I attended Makinde’s campaign office launch — Peter Obi

Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has shared the true reason behind his attendance at the inauguration of the Presidential campaign office of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, in Abuja. In a recent statement, Obi emphasized that his presence at the event was driven by the urgent need to foster a united Nigeria, characterized by love, justice, mutual respect, and inclusion. This sentiment comes at a critical juncture where political campaigns are often marred by contention and division.

Obi stressed the importance of Nigerian politicians prioritizing their shared love for the country above their political differences. He called on fellow presidential candidates to focus their campaigns on ideas and solutions that can tackle Nigeria's pressing issues, such as insecurity, poverty, hunger, inequality, and the increasing number of out-of-school children.
