Ukraine Moves to Seize Water Giant With Russian Ties
Ukrainian authorities are seeking independent management or possible nationalization of IDS Ukraine, producer of the country’s largest bottled water brands. The dispute concerns a 49% stake held by Russian investors, including sanctioned oligarch Mikhail Fridman, and a separate 34% stake owned by the Patarkatsishvili family, which opposes the move and threatens international litigation.
