UAE flights status update: Emirates, Etihad, Air Arabia, flydubai delays, cancellations; Indonesia flights disrupted

A mix of delays and cancellations continue to plague flights in the United Arab Emirates, as tensions escalate between the United States and Iran. Emirates reports delays and cancellations due to the temporary closure of Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, caused by volcanic ash from the Krakatau eruption.

Air Arabia and flydubai have canceled some Bahrain and Kuwait services. Passengers are advised to check their individual flight status before heading to the airport. Meanwhile, the escalating US-Iran conflict has resulted in heightened tensions in the region, with the US imposing travel restrictions on certain countries and Iran threatening a response.
