TotalEnergies Lubmarine Launches Aurelia FE, an Innovative Fuel Economy Lubricant for 4-Stroke Medium Speed Marine Engines

TotalEnergies Lubmarine has unveiled its new Aurelia FE oil, a groundbreaking fuel economy lubricant specifically designed for 4-stroke medium speed marine engines. The innovative product aims to help ship owners cut fuel consumption, minimize operating costs, and enhance vessel efficiency. As fuel is the primary operating expense for most vessels, Aurelia FE introduces a novel approach to energy efficiency through advanced lubricant technology.

Laboratory bench tests have shown that Aurelia FE can lead to fuel savings of 1.5%* on the standardized IMO E3 cycle (NOx Technical Code), with field testing suggesting even greater benefits in real-world operating conditions. These savings result in lower fuel costs and decreased CO₂ emissions.
