Sánchez defended Spain's public housing intervention, explaining that the rental price of homes in Casa 47 will vary depending on each property and municipality. Access to these homes will never require more than 33% of a family's income. Contracts for public rental homes can be extended up to 75 years, providing a lifetime of affordable housing, the Prime Minister stated.

He emphasized that the rental market is broken and dislocated, and his government will not withdraw from it, using all possible tools and unprecedented resources, having quadrupled the budget for housing and passing the first Housing Law.

Casa 47, the State Entity for Housing and Land, now has 800 homes available and will soon add 1,500 across the national territory. This growth is essential and will intensify with new houses and apartments becoming available each quarter. The government aims to make the process of finding and acquiring a home simple, transparent, and fair, with Casa 47 providing an easy-to-use portal and step-by-step guidance through the adjudication process.
