Samsung Group to begin 2nd-half 2026 open recruitment

Samsung Group will commence its open recruitment process for the second half of 2026 on Tuesday, with job openings across 19 subsidiaries. The multinational conglomerate will hire new employees in various sectors, including finance, construction, and services, through Samsung Careers, the company's recruitment portal. Applications can be submitted by job seekers from Tuesday until September 15.

The recruitment process consists of several stages. First, applicants will undergo application screening this month. Subsequently, they will participate in the Global Samsung Aptitude Test (GSAT) in October. Following the GSAT, candidates will undergo an interview and a medical check-up in November. For software development positions, applicants will take a software competency test in lieu of the GSAT. On the other hand, those applying for design roles will be evaluated based on their portfolio reviews.

While Samsung has not disclosed the number of positions they plan to fill through this latest recruitment round, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong announced last year that the group intends to expand its workforce as part of its growth strategy.
