Russia spent record $123.4 billion on war in just six months — Kluge
Russia’s federal spending on its war against Ukraine reached a new record of 10.687 trillion rubles ($123.4 billion) in the first half of 2026, according to calculations by Janis Kluge, a senior associate at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), based on Russian Finance Ministry data, The Moscow Times reported.
