Police rescue abducted woman in Delta

The Delta State Police Command have successfully rescued a woman who had been abducted from her home in Sapele. Suspected kidnappers abducted her from her residence along Eko Amukpe Road while she was attempting to enter her compound. The kidnappers fired warning shots into the air before dragging her into the nearby bush. Detectives were alerted to the incident, and promptly dispatched patrols and surveillance teams to the location.

Upon arrival, they found evidence of gunfire from AK-47 weapons and quickly launched a coordinated effort to free the victim. Working alongside local vigilantes, the police carried out a thorough search of the surrounding bush. The kidnappers, overwhelmed by the force of the police, abandoned the woman and fled the scene. The woman was recovered unharmed and promptly reunited with her loved ones. Police investigators are now actively pursuing leads to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
