PM commends PAF on Pakistan Air Force day

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the entire Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for their exceptional performance throughout its professional history on Pakistan Air Force Day, celebrated on September 7. The PAF has consistently proven its prowess and dominance in aerial conflicts over the years. The prime minister highlighted the PAF's rich history of sacrifice, valor, and professionalism, emphasizing that the organization has always answered the nation's call with great courage.

In September 1965, the PAF's determination to protect Pakistan's skies led to victory, with pilots laying down their lives in defense of the motherland. Prime Minister Sharif expressed his deep respect for these Shuhada (martyrs) and their supreme sacrifices. In May 2025, when an aggressor once again threatened the peaceful country, the PAF, working seamlessly with the other services, emerged victorious during Marka-i-Haq.

This success was attributed to bold leadership, the tactical acumen of combat crews, meticulous planning, and the strategic use of advanced multi-domain warfare capabilities developed through a comprehensive modernization and indigenization strategy. The prime minister reaffirmed the nation's pride in the PAF's unwavering commitment to valiantly defending Pakistan's sovereignty and airspace.

He wished the air force continued success and growth, confident that the PAF will always rise to any challenge to protect the nation's interests.
