Philippine sensation Eala looks forward to Asian Games ‘fun’

Philippine tennis sensation Alexandra Eala expressed her excitement to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the upcoming Asian Games after her narrow loss to Iva Jovic in the US Open. The 21-year-old sensation, who recently claimed the title of first Filipino to win a WTA singles crown and is currently ranked 18th globally, is considered the favorite for the women's singles gold at the Asian Games starting September 19 in Japan.

Since her previous appearance at the Asian Games three years ago in China, a bronze in both singles and mixed doubles, Eala's career has seen significant growth. Eala, a proud Filipino, emphasized her fondness for playing with the Philippines team and the memorable experience of the Southeast Asian Games in December last year.
