Peter Obi: Daniel Bwala under fire for attacking Arise TV crew

Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, has faced criticism on social media following his comments about the Arise TV Morning Show. Bwala alleged that the show's anchors have a biased stance towards all presidential candidates except Peter Obi, the flagbearer of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

He claimed that the anchors often downplay their criticisms when discussing Obi, describing their tone as if they were surrogates advising the candidate. Bwala further alleged that Arise News has not featured any adverse reports about Obi since he entered the presidential race. However, his claims did not go unnoticed and sparked a backlash from Bwala's followers, who accused him of being disloyal to the NDC and potentially damaging his career if Peter Obi were to drop out of the race.
