According to a reader who goes by the handle erek, their MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC allegedly experienced a melted 12VHPWR connector while testing NVIDIA's DLSS 5 Neural Rendering with NBA 2K27. The reader noted that DLSS 5 caused the GPU's TGP to spike from 450W to a sustained 600W, which exceeds the MSI Gaming Trio OC's rated 575W.
