Noah Lyles says injury is forcing him out of track meet with $150,000 top prizes

Olympic champion sprinter Noah Lyles has decided to withdraw from the upcoming track Ultimate Championships due to an injury. The $150,000 first prize event was set to begin on Friday in Budapest, Hungary. Lyles, who suffered a "small strain" following his loss in the 200 meters at U.S. nationals in July, announced his withdrawal on social media.

The 29-year-old, who holds four world championship titles in the 200 meters, was a key figure in the competition. Despite his absence, Lyles will still be present in Budapest as an emcee and creative adviser. The championships will see world and Olympic champions from the past two seasons compete for a $10 million prize pool.
