‘No matter where you hide, we will come for you’ – IGP warns criminals

The Ghana Police Service has recently dismantled several robbery networks operating in four regions of the country, resulting in the arrest of numerous suspects. These syndicates were discovered in the Greater Accra, Western, Savannah, and Northern Regions as part of heightened measures by the Police to combat violent crime. Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Yohunu, stated that the Police will persist in their efforts to apprehend suspects who remain at large.

He issued a stern warning to criminals, emphasizing that the Police will chase them wherever they attempt to evade capture. "Let me once again make it clear to all criminals out there that the Ghana Police Service under my leadership will sustain this and no matter where you run, no matter where you hide, we will come for you," said IGP Yohunu.

The IGP reiterated that these ongoing operations are intended to expose criminal elements and enhance community safety. He affirmed that the Police will maintain the crackdown until the remaining suspects are apprehended and held accountable for their actions. Mr. Yohunu also appealed to police officers involved in the operations to maintain their dedication and professionalism.

He affirmed the service's commitment to safeguarding lives and property while ensuring that criminals face the consequences of their actions.
