Man wanted in Brampton stabbing and 3 attempted carjackings

Peel Regional Police (PRP) are searching for a suspect following a stabbing and multiple attempted carjackings in Brampton over the weekend. The suspect allegedly attempted to steal a car with the owner inside near the intersection of Clockwork Drive and Creditview Road around 10 p.m. On this incident, the suspect stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene.

The victim received medical attention at a local trauma center but was not seriously injured. Following the stabbing, the suspect targeted a nearby residence, where he kicked in the front door and demanded car keys from the occupants, though he was unsuccessful. He then attempted to carjack two other vehicles in the vicinity without success, with no injuries reported.

Authorities warn that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a South Asian male between the ages of 25 and 30, possessing a slim build and a possible tattoo on his neck. The last known sighting placed him wearing a grey sweater, light-colored pants, black Crocs, a blue and white Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, and carrying a black messenger-style bag over his shoulder. Anyone with information regarding the suspect's whereabouts is urged to contact the police.
