Intel: More positive recruit reactions from Michigan Football vs WMU

Michigan Football hosted a stream of impressive recruits on Saturday, leaving a favorable impression on even more prospects. Notably, four-star linebacker Jay Schell, a surprise visitor last weekend, expressed satisfaction with his visit. Schell, a top target for the Wolverines, is among several prospects who could soon decide between Michigan, Clemson, and Oklahoma.

Gregory Montre, trainer and mentor to 2028 four-star cornerback Kinnard Mahomes and linebacker Cyrus Zuah, shared that both athletes thoroughly enjoyed their game day experience at The Big House. Zuah even received an offer during his visit. Similarly, 2028 four-star Chilicothe, Ohio running back Cartae Ligon returned after his spring practice appearance and praised the visit, spending quality time with his family.

Darren Gammell, founder of the Darren Junior Recruiting Source LLC, reported that Ligon appreciated another opportunity to connect with the program, including primary recruiter Tony Alford. Additionally, 2027 three-star in-state running back commit Lundon Hampton visited, discussing his past recruiting journey with 2028 athlete Marquis Ray, a frequent pledge candidate.

Hampton believes Michigan will regain its winning form and credits the defense for holding his team to just four field goals. Finally, 2028 three-star tight end Jack McNamara, native to the Chicago area, thoroughly enjoyed his first visit back to Michigan, impressed by the atmosphere at The Big House.
