IIM-B top management college in India; these are global top 10: FT Rankings 2026

The University of St Gallen, a business school established in 1898, has once again topped the FT Masters in Management 2026 ranking. Founded to train workers for the booming textile industry in eastern Switzerland, the institution has maintained its number one position for the 15th time overall. This is the second consecutive year the University of St Gallen has claimed the top spot in the ranking.

Moving up the list, Nova School of Business and Economics in Portugal has risen to second place, marking a 12-place improvement from the previous year. The Swiss institution boasts an impressive international student enrollment of 97%, the highest among the top 10. Following closely behind at third place is Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Antai College of Economics and Management, which has climbed four places since last year.

Indian business schools also have a notable presence in the ranking, with IIM Bangalore ranking 21st, SPJIMR at 26th, and IIM Ahmedabad at 27th. The FT Masters in Management ranking takes into account factors such as graduate salaries, salary growth, career progression, value for money, international exposure, diversity, and sustainability, with the average salary three years after graduation carrying the most significant weight at 15%.
