Greece stocks higher at close of trade; Athens General Composite up 0.04%

Greece stocks experienced a positive trend at the close of trade on Monday, outperforming the previous day's performance. The Athens General Composite rose by 0.04%, reaching a fresh 5-year high. Among the top gainers, Qualco Group SA saw a 4.46% increase to 6.09, Interlife General Insurance Company SA surged by 3.06% to 7.40, and HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings SA climbed 2.14% to 16.26.

Conversely, Performance Technologies IT Solutions dropped 3.13% to 9.60, Gr Sarantis SA fell 1.88% to 13.60, and Viohalco SA declined 1.84% to 17.06. In total, 61 stocks closed lower while 53 advanced, with 15 remaining unchanged. Shares of Interlife General Insurance Company SA hit an all-time high of 7.40, and HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings SA achieved a 5-year high at 16.26.

Meanwhile, gold futures for December delivery declined by 0.38% to $4,459.81 per troy ounce. Crude oil prices for October delivery rose by 1.42% to $92.78 per barrel, and the November Brent oil contract increased by 1.43% to $97.66 per barrel. Gold prices remained steady at $4,459.81 per troy ounce. The EUR/USD exchange rate held steady at 1.16, and EUR/GBP remained unchanged at 0.86. The US Dollar Index Futures experienced a slight decline of 0.28% to 98.87.
