Eight-year-old Gaza girl killed by Israel on first day of school

Qatar and seven other nations have vehemently criticized Israeli officials Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israel Katz for proposing the relocation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. In a joint declaration, the foreign ministers of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Türkiye declared that such plans contravene international law, including humanitarian laws, and threaten the Palestinian people's inherent rights.

The ministers categorically oppose any plans to forcibly remove Palestinians from the Occupied Palestinian Territory, citing grave consequences should such policies be enacted. The ministers emphasized that the Gaza Strip is an essential part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and urged the preservation of unity between Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

They reiterated the only way to achieve a fair and enduring peace is through the two-state solution, which would create an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with international resolutions. The ministers urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to uphold its responsibilities and firmly oppose any attempts to alter the demographic or geographic composition of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, ensuring adherence to international law.

They reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian people's determination on their land and their opposition to any efforts aimed at eradicating the Palestinian cause or infringing upon the Palestinian people's legitimate rights.
