Defending champion Indiana expects RB Khobie Martin to be out until midseason

Defending national champions Indiana expect running back Khobie Martin to be out until around midseason due to an arm injury he suffered during Saturday's 52-16 victory over North Texas. Cornerbacks A.J. Harris and Jamari Sharpe, who have undisclosed injuries, are also listed as day to day. Coach Curt Cignetti revealed Martin would miss "a little bit of time" with a timeline suggesting his return around midseason, which could coincide with Indiana's game against No. 1 Ohio State on October 17th.

Martin was due to play a significant role in Indiana's three-man running back rotation, alongside transfers Turbo Richard and Lee Beebe Jr., who both made appearances in Saturday's game.
