DAAM signs funding agreement with Al Noor Center to support specialized equipment, vision clinic

The Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) has entered into a three-year funding agreement with Al Noor Center, valid from 2026 to 2028. The agreement aims to provide financial assistance for the purchase of specialized equipment and a medical device for the center's vision clinic. This support will enhance services for beneficiaries, particularly those with visual impairment, by equipping the vision clinic with advanced diagnostic tools and technology.

Meshaal bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of Al Noor Center, expressed gratitude for the partnership, stating it will bolster the center's technical and medical capabilities and elevate the quality of services. Yousef Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of Shared Services at DAAM, noted that this support aligns with the Third National Development Strategy, focusing on empowering priority care groups such as individuals with visual impairment.

The agreement underscores the role of DAAM and Qatar Stock Exchange-listed companies in fostering social programs and sustainable development, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. Al Noor Center, part of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, is a leading institution in rehabilitation and support for people with visual impairment, providing specialized educational, rehabilitation, and social programs since its inception in 2010.
