Bukit Aman hubungi Hadi berkait dakwaan AS mahu bantu jatuhkan kerajaan

PAS President Hadi Awang claimed at the PAS National Annual Muktamar event last Saturday that a foreign country once offered assistance to his party to topple the government during then US President Barack Obama's visit to Malaysia in 2014. Bukit Aman, the Malaysian police force, has contacted PAS President Hadi Awang regarding the alleged offer of assistance to his party to overthrow the government in 2014.

Hadi Awang's deputy, Syahir Che Sulaiman, confirmed that the police have already contacted his office in connection with the matter.

Hadi Awang has been informed and is ready to provide full cooperation to the police. "The date and time will be determined," said the Bachok MP in a statement reportedly referring to the process of taking Hadi Awang's statements. Last Tuesday, three police reports were filed regarding Hadi Awang's allegation by three PKR Tun Razak Division leaders at Cheras Police Station.

They are PKR Tun Razak Division Deputy Chairman Jonathan, PKR Tun Razak Division President Mazlina Osman, and PKR Tun Razak Division Youth Deputy Chairman Amarul Hisham Jalil. Cheras District Police Head Mohd Rosdi Daud confirmed receiving the reports and said they would be referred to the Wangsa Maju police. Hadi Awang claimed during the PAS National Annual Muktamar event that party officials Takiyuddin Hassan and Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, who were his deputies at the time, went to the relevant embassy to hold a meeting.

However, the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur denied the claim, stating that the country never sought to determine who would lead Malaysia.
