Bukit Aman hubungi Hadi berkait dakwaan AS mahu bantu jatuhkan kerajaan

Hadi Awang, the President of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), stated during the 72nd PAS Annual Muktamar on Saturday that his party had been offered assistance by an outside party to topple the Malaysian government during former US President Barack Obama's visit to Malaysia in 2014. The PAS deputy secretary, Syahir Che Sulaiman, confirmed to the police that they had been contacted regarding this matter.

Tuan Guru (Hadi) has been informed and is ready to provide full cooperation to the police. "The date and time will be determined," said the Bachok MP in a statement believed to refer to the process of recording Hadi's testimony. On the previous day, three police reports were filed by three PKR Tun Razak Division leaders - PKR Tun Razak Deputy President Jonathan, PKR Tun Razak Women's Deputy Mazlina Osman, and PKR Tun Razak Deputy Youth Amarul Hisham Jalil - with the Cheras Police Station.

Cheras District Police Chief Mohd Rosdi Daud confirmed receiving the reports and said they would be referred to the Wangsa Maju Police. Hadi claimed during the Muktamar that Takiyuddin Hassan and Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, who were his deputies at the time, went to the relevant embassy to hold a meeting. However, the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur denied the claim, stating that the country had never tried to determine who would lead Malaysia.
