Botín dice que la ambición de Santander es llegar a 500 millones de clientes "pronto"

Presidenta de Santander Ana Botín has stated that the bank's ambition is to grow its client base from 182 million to 500 million in the near future. Botín made this assertion during the inauguration of Faro Santander, a new cultural center created by the bank in its former headquarters in the city of Santander. The president highlighted the transformation of the building from a traditional bank branch to an open-air art center and a space for the future, and linked this change to the bank's ambition of developing the most advanced global platform for financial services while maintaining its principles of responsibility and prudence.

Since its establishment in this city, Santander has expanded to serve 182 million clients, including 4 million businesses. The bank's ambition is to reach 500 million clients soon, acting as a bridge between Europe and the Americas, and now also between North and South America. The growth of Santander can be attributed to the bank's often difficult decisions, similar to those that transformed the Pereda building into Faro.
