Applications open for IIT Madras School Connect programme

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has launched applications for the October 2026 cohort of its School Connect programme. This initiative aims to introduce school students to various academic disciplines, enabling them to make informed decisions about their education and career paths. For the first time, students in Class IX will be eligible to participate alongside students from Classes X, XI, and XII.

According to a release, early exposure to diverse career options ahead of time can significantly benefit students. The application deadline is September 30, and the programme begins on October 5. Schools may collaborate with IIT Madras through a designated link. All comments must be in English, written as full sentences, and abide by the community guidelines.
