Actress Ama K. Abebrese has called upon supporters to offer prayers and encouragement to her colleague and fellow actor, Emmanuel Quaye, better known as Strika, amid recent public scrutiny. Reports indicate that Strika was apprehended for allegedly dismantling metal railings from the Kwashieman footbridge for resale. In a video response, Abebrese addressed the media's intense focus on Strika's situation, emphasizing that she would not delve into the specifics due to its involvement with a criminal matter.

Instead, she addressed the comparisons being made between Strika and another cast member, Abraham Attah, from the film "Beast of No Nation," which had launched both careers. Abebrese found it unjust for individuals presuming to judge Strika's path without understanding the complexities of his personal circumstances. She clarified that while Strika may seem to have had opportunities that many young people might perceive as enviable, his journey has been far more intricate than is apparent to the outside world.

"People out there will just think, oh he just squandered that opportunity," Abebrese remarked. She highlighted the misconception that "all fingers are not equal," acknowledging that Strika is a gifted young talent. Abebrese expressed her belief in Strika's capability to surmount the challenges he's currently encountering and offered her own support, urging others to do the same.

She also called for restraint in the comparisons being drawn between Strika and others, urging the public to keep such comparisons at bay.
