Airbus aircraft deliveries to end-August rose 9%

Airbus delivered a total of 475 aircraft between January and August 2026, marking a 9% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The company successfully completed 57 deliveries in August, with the A330 wide-body jet deliveries resuming after a production halt in June and July due to a lost tool in an A330 tail section. Overall, the company delivered 11 A330s this year, a 31% decrease compared to previous years.

The A320-family narrowbody deliveries, however, rose by 11%, contributing to the overall growth in Airbus's jet deliveries. The company aims to deliver 870 aircraft in 2026, representing a 10% increase from the 793 delivered in 2025. In August alone, Airbus sold 67 planes, including eight A350F freighters to an undisclosed customer. By the end of August this year, Airbus has sold 1,157 aircraft or 1,091 after accounting for cancellations.
