2027: Everything is politics to you – Rivers ADC tackles Wike over Amaechi

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Rivers State has criticized the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his recent remarks. During an interview on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief, ADC spokesman Chizzy Enyi accused Wike of perceiving every issue as a political matter. Enyi's comments came in response to Wike's predictions for the 2027 presidential election, where Amaechi, the ADC's vice-presidential candidate, is the frontrunner.

Wike claimed that the people of Rivers State would vote for Tinubu over Amaechi, and even suggested that Amaechi would attempt to sabotage the election before 11 am on election day. Enyi also noted that Amaechi had decided not to engage with Wike's comments, emphasizing that Wike's perspective on politics is pervasive. Enyi further criticized Wike, stating, "Honestly, there’s no value Wike has brought or is bringing to Rivers State."
