Yash starrer Toxic sees 34 percent box office jump; crosses Rs 330 crore mark worldwide

Yash and Kiara Advani's film Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups is making strides towards a significant box office milestone. As of Day 12, India's net collection stands at Rs. 243.59 crore, just Rs. 6.41 crore shy of the Rs. 250 crore target. Internationally, the movie has grossed around Rs. 334.50 crore, falling short of the Rs.

350 crore mark by approximately Rs. 15.50 crore. The film's success hinges on its ability to maintain audience interest and compete effectively with recent releases like Mirzapur: The Movie and Hanuman Ansh. Toxic opened strong, grossing Rs. 101.10 crore on its first day, followed by consistent performances over the following days.

However, a recent slowdown has reduced its daily earnings, with Day 10 bringing in only Rs. 1.75 crore net. Despite this, the international gross has been steadily increasing, reaching a total of Rs. 44 crore by Day 11. Currently, the film is showing in 708 theaters across India, with Day 12 collecting Rs. 0.39 crore net, raising its overall India gross to Rs.

290.88 crore and net total to Rs. 243.72 crore. The language-wise breakdown shows Kannada leading with Rs. 21 lakh, followed by Telugu at Rs. 5 lakh, Hindi at Rs. 11 lakh, and Tamil at Rs. 2 lakh. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the period gangster drama unfolds against the backdrop of Goa, focusing on Raya (Yash) and his entanglement in the criminal underworld.
