US trade war: What if Russian oil is excluded from markets? Envoy Alipov warns ‘world will not cope'

Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov warned that the global energy market would struggle to cope if Russian oil were excluded from markets. He stated that Moscow was ready to supply India with as much crude oil as needed, while noting India's willingness to protect its national interests. Alipov emphasized that pressure tactics instead of honest cooperation from countries imposing sanctions and tariffs prevented them from offering a better deal than Russia.

He highlighted that Russia remains interested in selling crude to India, and India maintains an interest in purchasing it. Alipov expressed confidence in continued India-Russia energy cooperation, stating that India has demonstrated its ability to stand its ground. He warned that the world would not cope if Russian oil were excluded, as Russian oil would continue to be supplied to India and other countries.
