Tragedy as Three Siblings Found Dead on Ondo Farm

In a heartbreaking tragedy, the bodies of three siblings were discovered at a farm in Akure, Ondo State, West Africa. The victims, Joshua Jonah, 11, and his twin brother Jacob Jonah, 11, along with their five-year-old sister Blessing Jonah, were found deceased on a farm near the Owena Army Barracks. The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the incident on Sunday, noting that the children had accompanied their father, Samuel Jonah, to the farm on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Later that same day, the father returned home with his children, only for them to leave and return to the farm. Concerned upon their return, the father immediately initiated a search for his missing children. Their remains were eventually found on Saturday, September 5, near the bank of a small river on the farm. The nature of the children's deaths remains under investigation by the police, who have commenced efforts to determine the exact circumstances.

Commissioner of Police Felix Ohagwu has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident, with the aim of establishing all relevant facts. The police have also urged parents and guardians to be more vigilant around water bodies, warning that such environments can lead to tragic accidents if proper caution is not exercised.
