The Life and Death of Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo

British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho Ubiribo, known as "Tiny," "Denisi," and "Ego," passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 43 following a controversial penis enlargement procedure in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ubiribo had a significant social media presence, with his Instagram account boasting around 185,000 followers. His lavish lifestyle was often showcased through his posts. Ubiribo was married to Danielle Simba Allen, a fashion designer and socialite, and the couple tied the knot in Zimbabwe in 2022.

His assets, which included properties in the United States and the United Kingdom, were estimated to be worth a combined total. In addition to real estate, Ubiribo owned luxury vehicles, yachts, and designer clothing.

On the day of his death, Ubiribo sought treatment at a Bangkok clinic for a penis enlargement procedure, during which he received an injection of 40 milliliters of a filler composed of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. After the procedure, he visited a local massage parlor with his wife.

At the massage parlor, Ubiribo began experiencing chest pain and collapsed twice. Emergency services rushed him to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism caused by the filler material lodged in his lungs. Despite 100 minutes of CPR, Ubiribo could not be revived. A post-mortem examination in the United Kingdom confirmed the presence of the filler material.

A formal inquest ruled that the cause of death was a pulmonary embolism resulting directly from the cosmetic procedure. Ubiribo was laid to rest in London with a funeral that included a gold coffin valued at over $745,000. Notable attendees included Nigerian music star Davido.
