A woman was arrested after being accused of pulling out a child's hair and shaking the head of a two-year-old child at a taska in Kuantan. Police in Petaling Jaya are investigating after receiving a report from a video shared on social media, which showed the incident around 10:34 am on Tuesday. According to Ketua Polis Kuantan Ashari Abu Samah, the preliminary investigation found that the incident allegedly occurred on August 11th, with the video footage showing the victim being pulled by her hair and shaken by the head by a female staff member at the taska.

A 31-year-old woman has been arrested to assist the investigation, and a charge may be filed against her tomorrow. The victim was taken to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan, for further examination, and no serious physical injuries have been reported so far. The investigation is ongoing under Section 31(1)(a) of the Children's Act 2001, and the public is advised not to speculate or spread any information that could reveal the victim's identity due to the involvement of a child in the case.
