Prime Minister to begin visit to China tomorrow: Official MoFA Spokesperson

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, is set to embark on a visit to China on September 7 and 8, according to Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, the Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During this visit, the Qatari leader will engage in a series of meetings with high-ranking Chinese officials to discuss the strategic relations between the two nations and explore avenues for strengthening and expanding these ties across various sectors.

The talks are expected to cover economic and investment cooperation, with the aim of benefiting both countries' shared interests. Furthermore, the discussions will likely address significant regional developments and diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and improving security and stability in the area. Additionally, the leaders will stress the importance of safeguarding the security and freedom of international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
